For the upcoming Animator Gatherings:
Monday, June 28th at the Colorado Springs Baha'i Center 7-9pm
Wednesday, July 7th at the Loveland Baha'i Center 7-9pm
It would be beneficial to recall how our groups were formed. Please comment with your own personal experience with starting groups: what works, what doesn't work, where your group is now, and where you would like to be in the future. We may have a chance to discuss how to start and sustain groups at these animator gatherings and we would love to hear your experience!
Please consider posting here a good way to compile our learning.
Thanks!

COLORADO SPRINGS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOk, so i have 2 junior youth groups, one of which is a group of all girls:
ReplyDeletethis group was just passed along to me and its-is-awesome. and slowly growing.
The other one was like a "hey you, Baha'i Junior Youth, go invite your friends and lets go make a junior youth group!!!"
This one is wayy awesome, and there are huge upcoming plans. were splitting it in two (there are two youth, one younger, and one older).
The older youth are getting out of school earlier this year, and they re going to meet while the other younger ones are still in school. Then when the younger ones arrive, they are going to animate the younger junior youth. All of their complimentary activities and service projects will be planned together, but soon we hope to count it for two JYG's (if it gets big enough)
GO AGENTS OF CHANGE!!!!!
